The spending economy of the bottom 90% has never been understood. We change that.
The formal economy sees the top 10% — the banked, the credit-scored, the measured. The other four billion people who do most of the spending in emerging markets are largely invisible to it. Their behaviour isn't captured, their reliability isn't scored, their economy isn't modelled.
The Binary Labs exists to make that economy legible — ethically, with consent, and only ever as anonymised aggregates. We build ARIA, a reasoning engine that runs on a behavioural data layer no foundation-model lab and no single app can assemble: how the long tail earns, spends and repays, measured the same way across ten countries.
We don't compete with the model labs above us, and we don't chase the users below us. We are the intelligence layer in between — and we turn that data into decisions, inside the apps people already use.
Three convictions.
The model is swappable.
Foundation models are a commodity that keeps improving. We sit on top of them, route through the best, and own the thing they can't — the data. As they get better, so do we.
The data layer is not.
No lab and no app can assemble what ARIA runs on: consented, cross-country behavioural signal on the bottom 90%. Every new market makes it stronger for all the others.
Legible, not extractive.
Everything external is anonymised, aggregated above a k≥50 floor, with the partner as data controller and a documented legal basis in every market. Intelligence, never surveillance.
A distinct entity under The Binary Holdings.
The Binary Labs is the application company within the group. The Binary Holdings — DIFC-incorporated, established 2023 — is the infrastructure parent: it owns BinaryOS, the Binary Network, and the consented data layer across the live country footprint. The Labs builds ARIA on top of it and brings the five products to market.
Same operators, two clear mandates: the Holdings builds and owns the rails; the Labs builds the brain and the products that run on them.
